Painting the garage floor

Ok, so this isn’t really that interesting, however it’s something that will improve the working environment.

I went with a special garage floor paint in Steel Blue. I’m hoping the weather cooperates so I can leave the car out of the garage for most of the day.

It’s very blue but this should be easier to clean and should reduce the levels of dust.

Update: I went to finish off the garage and found that the cold weather had caused the remainder of the paint to separate in the can. I decided to go ahead and paint the floor anyway in order to give some level of protection, however it’s flaking off really easily. That will teach me for leaving the paint in the garage when its so cold.

It’s been a while since I updated the site. I think I finished painting the garage floor in 2024, so that’s where this has been put 🙂
